The single mission of Visionary University is to re-envision the world, one miracle at a time, by empowering you, the Miracle Worker.

Why miracles? Because they work. They cut to the quick, directly addressing what is needed, in the most effective way. It’s not just what you do that makes the difference, but how and when you do it. With miracles, you still have work to do, which can at times be demanding. Yet you seldom have to struggle and labor as much as you typically would, as miracles are powered by far more energy than you could ever muster on your own.

And why you? Our first job at Visionary University is to help you see that you are the miracle worker — you have the power to change the world. We help you see beyond the limits you have placed upon yourself and the limits you have placed upon the world. Our next job is to help bring out your Inner Visionary, so that you can see what miracle is needed. Then we give you the tools to perform the miracle.

It’s not about taking control; it’s about learning to dream again. It’s about making sure that you’re not so wrapped up in your own stuff that when the envisionments come, you end up missing them.

What your journey with Visionary University boils down to is finding your true calling as a Visionary world changer, then connecting with the courage to do it.

Clearing the Pathway

Imagine for a moment that there are no distinctions, no boundaries, no favorites, no priorities. There is no yes or no, no sooner or later, no love or hate. Nothing is arbitrarily judged as appropriate or inappropriate, moral or immoral, dream or reality. Without light, there can be no darkness; without you, there can be no me.

What does that leave? “I” am now an Oracle. There is no resistance to what comes, and no yearning for what does not come. There is only a blank canvas of no form or proportion, and the Boundless Flow is the palette. As the illustration takes form, it continues to fade, since everything is in the continual process of creation and dissolution.

Such is the Envisioning process. It is why everything is possible, and why no Visionary is limited by such supposed strictures as time, space, or resources. Any limitation of any form is merely an illusion.

There is only one rule: Get out of the way. When I do that, everything and everybody clears out, because they are of my creation — manifestations of my needs, my attachments.

How does one get out of the way? By getting in the way. Only by venturing into the dark does our fear of the dark disappear. Getting in the way means Striving to be the epitome of form and style in all the arenas of our lives. Full presence, full engagement, undying commitment to growth. It is only then that we become the boundless canvas, where the fantastical is the norm, Envisioning is the language, and the lilting sweeps of brush over canvas are a never-ending ecstatic dance.

Are you ready? That is a trick question, because for a Visionary there is no “you” to answer. There is only the Dance.

The Calling

Have you ever wanted to follow your passion, but you ended up saying to yourself, “I won’t do it, because I can’t make a living at it.” It was likely not an easy thing to do, and that is especially true for Visionaries.

If you are one and you listened to the voice of your heart, you no doubt heard, “Do it anyway.”

Ultimately, you have no choice, as the only other option is a life of denial — of who you are and what you could do in service to your people and the world. What you decide for yourself, you decide for everyone who would be touched by your miracles and owes you would help them perform, both now and for many years into the future.

Yet the fear of serving is real, as Visionaries need to give all their personal gifts away in service to others.  When we hang on to something, we can no longer extend an open hand. When we have nothing, everything is possible. Our hand is then open, and our back is not burdened by the weight of what we once clutched. We can then honor our calling by letting our service be known before we are.

To do so, we need to see through the eyes of our heart. The ego sees through a lens of fear. Everything is either a threat or potential for gain. Your heart’s eyes, on the other hand, are inquisitive. They embrace what is there, which is all about its own personal journey: where it came from, and where it is going. In essence, ego eyes are defensive-exploitative, and heart eyes are inquisitive and accepting.

A miracle is a shift in perception. Miracle workers who can see through the eyes of their hearts have the ability to help others shift their perceptions — to make heaven out of hell. However, in fulfilling our mission to do so, we find ourselves facing another threshold beyond fear — personal demands that can be both enthralling and depressingly overwhelming.

Either way, many Visionaries — especially early on in our service — seek escape. All it does is bind us more tightly to the task. When we try to escape, our calling becomes our nemesis. Peace of mind can only come when we cease trying to run. Ultimately, there is no way to flee from ourselves.

The more we try, the more our pain and suffering becomes us. It disconnects us from our true self and creates an alternate reality or the illusory self we have created. There is no Envisioning in that reality, no miracles. All that manifests is more illusions, as that is all that can arise from illusions.

The Way of the Visionary is not difficult, it is only different. It is our frame of mind and resultant judgment that casts something as difficult. We could just as well see it as a new horizon, ripe with opportunities never before available. When we answer the calling to be a miracle worker, let us remember that performing a miracle is a parting of the veil of fear. We can then step through and allow our longing to take us to fulfillment. Think of each new, fulfilling miracle as love again having the chance to blossom.

Visionary University Curriculum

All courses are held online, and they are comprised of a combination of daily short lessons, weekly assignments, and periodic live Zoom instruction.

Even though the Envisioning process itself is a solo undertaking, you cannot learn or practice it entirely alone — you need a support base. Each Visionary University student is paired up with a fellow student, to provide mutual encouragement and assistance.

Miracle Working 101

This concentrated course gives you an in-depth introduction to the Way of the Visionary. The first thing you learn is that you can do what you will to prepare yourself and your environment for Envisioning and it ultimately doesn’t matter. Here you learn how to break the pattern of preparing, training, and organizing, for two reasons: they get in the way, and you cannot prepare for real magic. The Way of Visionary Mastery is the way of release and detachment, and that’s what we focus on.

Next, you learn why there is nothing you can do or not do to start or stop the Envisioning process. Whether you attempt to interfere with it or you are oblivious to it, it is going to happen in its own time and way. That doesn’t mean you don’t have work to do. This course:

• Helps you find direction for your desire to serve.
• Explains why Envisioning is a never-ending story.
• Get you rooted in the basics of Envisioning.
• Gives you the basic skillset for performing miracles.
• Shows you how to approach vision manifesting from a place of healthy dispassion.
• Provides you with the core survival skills every Visionary needs.
• Gets you functioning as the Visionary in service.

The Visionaries Master’s Program

Here is a complete and comprehensive course in how to develop and use your innate ability to intuit and manifest healing, creativity, and inventing, for self and others. You study and advance in your own time, and at your own pace, as the Program takes you from (insert your name) to Miracle Worker.

Living and working with a Visionary takes not only the selfless presence and resilience of a saint, but also the dedication and belief of a lover. This Program is not only for Visionaries, but for everyone who has the courage — and at times, the seeming foolhardiness — to stand beside and support those who would dare step forward to see a new tomorrow. Without you, Visionaries would be little more than oddball dreamers.

Refresher Course

Masters Program graduates and practicing Visionaries periodically need a refresher to retune their skills, reengage in the practice, or reconnect with the miracle working community. It’s not uncommon for Visionaries to occasionally lose their steam. Or things might just not be working right, for whatever reason. And then there are extenuating circumstances that occasionally cause someone to become inactive. Others will come to realize that they have been compromising, and it’s time to again get serious about their true calling. Whatever the case, this recharger course gives you both the inspiration and the freshly sharpened tools to perform and serve at your peak.

Course Length: 4 hours — two 2-hour sessions

Format: Live via Zoom.

Become the Leader You Are Meant to Be

A two-day intensive to fully awaken the leader within

and give the tools and vision to be both effective and inspirational

“The best leader follows the will of the people,” says Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching. “A leader is best when people barely know he exists. When his work is done and his aim fulfilled, they will say, ‘We did it ourselves.’”

You can’t have a functioning group without a leader—and you can’t be a leader without a functioning group. This course puts you on track for achieving both. You learn how to be the strong leader Lao Tzu describes: One who knows how to help people lead themselves, who is an exemplary follower, who always listens before speaking, whose loudest voice is his/her example, and who remains invisible whenever possible.

Contrary to popular opinion, everyone is a leader. You may be a natural-born leader archetype (more accurately referred to as the listener or coordinator), yet there are times when the other two archetypes: nurturer and guardian, as well are called to step forward and serve in leadership roles. And that is good, as we are faced with a great leadership void. Whether it’s big charities, small clubs, neighborhood groups, or families, they all have one thing in common: they are just waiting to be energized and transformed. All that’s missing is effective, empowering leadership.

At this point, you might already be saying, “Who, me, a leader?” Yes, YOU. There is one person who could step in and make a difference, and that is you. No, you don’t have to first develop special tools and techniques. You have something far bigger—your vision and your passion. All you need to add is your desire to make things happen that are far bigger than you.

A group needs only two things to function: a shared interest and a way to communicate. You can provide both. The people around you realize this, and if you are ready to step into the void and provide it, they are ready to join in. Leadership can—and must—come from anyone, anywhere in the organization. But until that time comes, you are needed.

Leadership is about creating change. Yet all of your potential to effect change is worthless if you settle into complacency and don’t step forward. Change is frightening to many people who would be leaders—it looms as more of a threat than a promise. That’s too bad, because the future then belongs only to the leaders we have. But if you step forward, it will inspire many others to do the same, and the future will then belong to everybody.

Leadership isn’t difficult, but it seems so because you—like most of us—have likely been trained for your entire life to avoid it. The truth is, you don’t need to wait until it’s exactly the right organization, the right position, the right break. Leadership is not something you need to be ordained to do. Attitude is essential, authority is not. In fact, authority often gets in the way.

You are needed now—do you have the courage and heart to answer the call?

Curriculum

Deep down, you already know how to lead, as it is imprinted in your DNA. In this intensive, a combination of exercises, personal stories, media presentations, and excerpts from classic texts on inspired leadership brings out your inner leadership abilities and gives you both the inspiration and wherewithal to go forth and make a difference.

Course material is based on the wisdom of Nature, the latest research on group dynamics and leadership, lessons from the instructor’s unpublished book Inspired Leadership, and the author’s personal experience as a civic, political, business, research, and cultural spearhead.

Course Instructor

Tamarack Song started his leadership career in Boy Scouts, then in college as a student cafeteria staff manager. Since then, he hasn’t looked back—he’s been the founder and/or CEO of 20-plus for-profit and nonprofit organizations. With sixty years of experience and training, he is still active as a founder, Lao Tzu-style leader, and consultant.

He learned leadership skills through university study in nonprofit and community leadership, seminars, independent research, and by working with other leaders. Yet he credits his most fundamental knowledge to his time in Nature, the Native Elders and communities he has worked with, and the tutelage he received from the pack of Wolves he lived with. He holds Development (CDE), Nonprofit (CNE) and Consultant (CNC) certifications from the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives (NANOE). You can view his CV here.

Though he is typically a reluctant leader, he is still sometimes asked to coordinate a civic, political, or cultural organization. His natural inclination leans more toward either digging in and getting his hands dirty or stepping back to gain philosophical perspective, yet he still feels honored to facilitate when needed. So if he can do it—and enjoy doing it—odds are you can also.

Your Instructor

True to form for Visionaries, Tamarack Song is a pain in the *** for some people. Up at 3 AM most days and having little regard for household feng shui, he lives amidst the “clutter” created by working simultaneously on twenty books, four nonprofits, a consulting service, and the overflow of a mind in constant overdrive.

There is slow, and there is slower, and then there is Tamarack. Though confusing and frustrating to some, his deliberateness and sense of presence models what it one takes to create the expansive space to be fully present and listen — the two essential foundations for Envisioning.

Tamarack is a walking contradiction — a loner who craves community, and both impossible and inspiring to live with, depending on who you talk to. He spent ten years in academia, with no degrees to show for it. After making a million dollars, he turned it over to a nonprofit, in order to live the life of an ascetic in service. Even though he founded a score of businesses, he’d rather be in the business of hunting and gathering. Yet there is one thread running through that menagerie that made it all possible — the ability to Envision and bring Visions to life.

If there is any of the walking contradiction in you that cries to be released and start seriously re-envisioning the world, it may be time to meet your instructor.
